Community Drop-In

Our weekly drop-in session offer a safe space where you can find connection and gentle signposting without the pressure of a clinical setting. Whether you want a quiet place to sit, or a friendly conversation over a warm drink, our doors are open to everyone. There are no requirements, no waiting lists, and no formal referrals needed - Just a room to breathe.

Pop-Up Spaces

We believe support should be local and community based, so we are bringing Room to Breathe directly into the community.
We are actively developing Pop-Up locations in and around Swaffham alongside a  Multi-Disciplinary Team of Health Professionals to ensure that Rural isolation is no longer a barrier to mental wellbeing. These spaces provide flexible, accessible support right where you live.

Volunteering

Volunteering is the heartbeat of our community.
This role is for anyone who wants to help make our spaces feel warm and welcoming. Whether you're helping with refreshments, settting up a pop-up space, or assisting with administrative tasks, you are helping us fight rural isolation. It is a great way to meet new people, gain skills, and give back to the community in a meaningful way.

Hosting a Pop-Up

We partner with local venues, community centres, and businesses to turn community spaces into hubs of hope.
With over 30% of the Swaffham Community living alone, your venue could provide a vital physical link needed to bring people back together. Help us expand our reach by becoming a Room to Breathe Host.

Lived Experience

Lived experience is at the heart of what we do. We offer rewarding volunteer roles for those who wish to use their own mental health journey to support others through social interaction and planned activities.
It's a reciprocal relationship; By helping others find their breathe, you strengthen your own path to recovery.

For Professionals

Room to Breathe acts as a vital non-clinical bridge for professional services. Guided by our multidisciplinary Strategic and Safeguarding Board, we actively invite collaboration and engagement from across the sector to better support our community.
